The Problem

WHY OFFICE NETWORKS
FAIL IN EGYPT

Most network problems aren't dramatic outages — they're slow leaks: dropped WiFi, single points of failure, and security gaps nobody notices until it's too late.

01

One Flat Network, One Point of Failure

Most Egyptian SMEs run every device — server, laptops, printers, the reception PC — on a single unsegmented network. One compromised device gives an attacker a straight path to everything else, and one bad cable or misconfigured router can take the whole office offline at once.

02

Consumer Routers Doing Enterprise Jobs

A home-grade router bought off the shelf simply isn't built for 20+ connected devices, video calls, cloud backups, and VoIP running at once. Coverage dead zones, dropped connections, and random slowdowns are the predictable result of under-built infrastructure.

03

Single-ISP Dependency

When your entire business relies on one internet provider, a single outage — common enough with Egyptian ISPs — stops sales, support, cloud tools, and communication all at once, with no fallback until service is restored.

04

No Documentation, No Accountability

Networks configured years ago by a freelancer who's long gone, with no diagrams, no credential records, and no change history. When something breaks, every fix starts from zero — guessing at a system nobody fully understands.

Our Process

FROM SITE SURVEY
TO LIVE NETWORK

A structured rollout that minimises disruption to your day-to-day operations.

01
Step 01 — Site Survey

WE ASSESS YOUR SPACE

On-site walkthrough to map coverage needs, existing cabling, device density, and problem areas — plus a review of your current ISP setup and security posture.

02
Step 02 — Design

WE DESIGN YOUR TOPOLOGY

A documented network diagram covering VLANs, cabling runs, access point placement, and firewall rules — reviewed and approved with you before any hardware is touched.

03
Step 03 — Install & Configure

WE BUILD IT RIGHT

Certified cabling, access point mounting, Cisco/MikroTik configuration, VPN, and firewall rules deployed by our own engineers — with testing at every stage.

04
Step 04 — Security Audit

WE STRESS-TEST IT

A full vulnerability pass against the live network — default credentials, open ports, weak segmentation — fixed before we call it done, not after.

05
Step 05 — Monitor & Support

WE WATCH IT 24/7

Ongoing monitoring, patching, and a documented network handed over to you — plus real engineers on WhatsApp or phone whenever something needs attention.

Why NTS

A NETWORK PARTNER,
NOT A ONE-TIME VENDOR

Anyone can run a cable. We design, secure, and stay accountable for the network long after installation.

SECURITY-FIRST DESIGN

Segmentation, least-privilege access, and firewall hardening are built into every deployment from day one — not bolted on afterward when something goes wrong.

REAL 24/7 MONITORING

Not an automated ticket — engineers watching your network around the clock, catching outages and anomalies before they become downtime.

FULL DOCUMENTATION, ALWAYS

Every diagram, VLAN map, and credential handed to you in writing. Your network stays understandable and maintainable, whoever supports it next.

16+ YEARS IN EGYPT

We know Egyptian ISPs, power reliability, and building constraints — and design around them, not around a generic international playbook.

FAQ

COMMON
QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before we design your network.

Both, always. Wired connections give servers, desktops, and access points a stable, high-bandwidth, low-latency link, while WiFi covers mobile devices and flexible seating. We design every office network with a structured cabling backbone feeding enterprise access points — never WiFi as the sole infrastructure, since consumer routers can't handle the density and reliability a business needs.

VLAN segmentation splits one physical network into isolated logical zones — for example, separating staff workstations, guest WiFi, VoIP phones, and servers so a compromised device in one zone can't reach another. Even offices with under 20 users benefit: it's one of the highest-impact, lowest-cost security measures we implement, and we configure it as standard on every Cisco or MikroTik deployment.

It depends on scale and budget. MikroTik delivers excellent performance and enterprise features (VLANs, VPN, QoS, firewall) at a fraction of Cisco's cost, and is our default recommendation for most Egyptian SMEs. Larger offices, multi-branch operations, or businesses with strict uptime/support SLAs often justify Cisco's premium for its ecosystem and support network. We assess your requirements and recommend the option that fits — never oversell hardware you don't need.

Dual-ISP redundancy means that if one Egyptian ISP has an outage — which happens more often than businesses expect — your office automatically fails over to the second connection with no manual intervention. For businesses where downtime means lost sales or missed deadlines, a second EGP 500–1,500/month line is inexpensive insurance against connectivity loss.

Audit pricing depends on office size and complexity, and we always scope it after an initial discovery call — not before. As a reference point, a full hardware + configuration overhaul for a 10–20 user Egyptian office typically runs EGP 25,000–75,000, with ongoing managed monitoring from EGP 3,000–8,000/month. We provide a detailed, itemized quote with no obligation.

Yes. We configure both site-to-site and client VPNs so staff working from home, Alexandria, Mansoura, or anywhere else can securely reach internal systems as if they were sitting in the office — with all traffic encrypted and protected even on public WiFi. This is now a standard part of nearly every networking engagement we deliver.
